Triple Falls – Dupont National Forest
Dupont State Recreational Forest, commonly known as Dupont Forest, is located in Henderson and Transylvania Counties in North Carolina. The name originates from the DuPont Company who owned the land and arranged the sale of the original tract of land to the state. Several other tracts have been sold adding to the forest. One portion of the forest contained a DuPont manufacturing plant that produced X-Ray film.
There are many great waterfalls in the forest and several trails to explore.
